Role of the Chairman of BOD in Historical Performance of the Bank of AJK.

Bank of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is making historical progress under the patronage and leadership of its Chairman of Board of Directors Mr. Khan Abdul Majid Khan. History making results and achievements of the Bank are touching new heights of excellence.

Chairman regularly conducts meeting with senior management and shows deep commitment with the objectives of the Bank. He is using his professional and personal influence to bring more business and potential customers. Meetings with public representatives helped a lot in this regard. Chairman's efforts to conduct meetings with general public and business personalities are quite appreciated by all segments of society. Meetings and tours of Neelum valley and Mirpur etc shows the commitment of the Honorable Chairman with the State owned Bank. He plans to conduct more meetings and public interactions in future.

Along with its financial benefits, the Bank is providing employment opportunities to the people of the State. Khan Abdul Majid Khan is promoting the culture of equal opportunities for all. Chairman is providing transparent and merit based culture for recruitment in the Bank. As he is himself highly educated and is graduated from foreign so he is conscious to employ talented and deserved persons. He is keen to recruit right people for right jobs. He has stopped the custom and tradition of political influence and pressure in recruitment and lending.

BAJK is moving forward with full support of its Chairman and day is not far when it will acquire the status of a scheduled bank. Bank is opening more branches in far flung areas of the State and is proceeding quickly towards online system.

State owned Bank is registering its unique presence in the market and its continuously improving progress is impressing the people of AJK.

People of AJK are thankful for the Bank's Honorable Chairman of BOD for bringing positive change and are hopeful that the Bank will make further historical progress under his leadership.
